Tomato Basil Sourdough Focaccia
Celebrate the flavors of summer with our Tomato Basil Focaccia. Handcrafted from naturally leavened sourdough, each 8×8 loaf is topped with sweet, juicy cherry tomatoes and fragrant basil grown right in our garden, then finished with a drizzle of olive oil and baked until golden.
Light, airy, and full of beautiful sourdough bubbles, this rustic focaccia is the perfect companion to pasta dishes, soups, salads, or charcuterie boards. It's also delicious sliced for sandwiches or enjoyed warm on its own.
Storage
For the best flavor and texture, enjoy within 2–3 days of purchase. Store tightly wrapped at room temperature. Avoid refrigerating, as it can cause the bread to dry out more quickly.
Freezing Instructions
- Allow the focaccia to cool completely if it has been warmed.
- Wrap tightly in plastic wrap or aluminum foil.
- Place the wrapped bread in a freezer-safe bag or airtight container.
- Freeze for up to 3 months.
Thawing & Reheating
- Remove from the freezer and thaw, still wrapped, at room temperature for 2–3 hours or overnight.
- For the best texture, warm in a 350°F oven for 8–10 minutes.
- Individual pieces can also be reheated in a toaster oven or air fryer for 3–5 minutes until warmed through and the crust is lightly crisp
