Rooted in Tradition. Made to Be Shared.

Root & Table began with something that has always been a part of who we are: the land, the food it provides, and the belief that you make the most of what you have.

We are Kevin and Corrina Dea, husband and wife and the founders of Root & Table. Both of us grew up on farms, where homesteading wasn't a trend or a hobby—it was simply a way of life.

Kevin grew up raising cattle and working row crops, learning early the value of hard work, caring for the land, and making the most of what a farm could provide.

Corrina grew up with a love for the kitchen and the garden—preserving foods, cooking from scratch, growing what could be grown, and learning how to turn what was available into something useful and delicious.

We both grew up with the same underlying philosophy:

Use what you have. Waste as little as possible. Learn to make things yourself. And be creative enough to make what you have work.

Those lessons never really left us.

Finding Our Way Back to the Homestead

As adults, we've found ourselves drawn back to those same principles. Our homesteading journey has become a way to reconnect with the things we grew up knowing while creating something of our own.

We garden. We preserve. We bake. We experiment. We learn.

Some seasons bring an abundance of tomatoes that become salsa, pizza sauce, and pasta sauce. Apples become applesauce, apple butter, and pie filling. Garden peppers become pickles, relishes, and jellies. Flour, water, and a little patience become naturally fermented sourdough bread.

And when we have more than our own family can use, we believe in sharing that abundance.

That is where Root & Table was born.

From Our Roots to Your Table

Root & Table is our way of sharing the food and traditions that have been part of our lives for generations.

We offer small-batch home-canned goods, seasonal garden produce and herbs, and homemade sourdough breads and baked goods. Our offerings change with the seasons because we believe food should follow the rhythm of the garden and the land.

You'll find familiar favorites alongside new creations we're experimenting with—because being resourceful and creative has always been part of how we do things.

We aren't a large commercial operation, and we don't want to be.

We want you to know that the jar of jam, loaf of bread, or bundle of herbs you're taking home was made by real people who care about what they grow, what they make, and what they put on their own table.

Why We Do It

For us, homesteading isn't about trying to do everything ourselves or living perfectly.

It's about using what we have and being willing to learn.

It's about growing a little more, preserving the harvest, making food from scratch, and keeping useful skills alive.

It's about remembering that not everything needs to come from a store.

And it's about sharing those things with the people around us.

We love knowing that something grown in our garden, made in our kitchen, or preserved at the height of the season can eventually find its way onto someone else's table.

So whether you stop by our market booth for a loaf of sourdough, pick up a jar of homemade apple butter, take home a few garden-fresh herbs, or discover one of our seasonal creations, we hope you find a little bit of the traditions we grew up with in every purchase.

Welcome to Root & Table.

Rooted in the land. Inspired by tradition. Made for your table.
