A bold and flavorful twist on our classic artisan sourdough, our Jalapeño Cheddar Loaf combines the tangy depth of naturally leavened bread with the savory richness of sharp cheddar and the bright kick of jalapeño peppers.

Slow-fermented for exceptional flavor and texture, this artisan loaf has a crisp golden crust, a soft and airy crumb, and pockets of melted cheddar and jalapeño throughout. Each loaf is handcrafted with care, creating the perfect balance of cheesy comfort and just the right amount of heat.

Perfect for:

  • Toasted sandwiches and grilled cheese
  • Serving alongside soups, chili, and stews
  • Dipping with olive oil or your favorite spreads
  • Pairing with our homemade pepper jelly or pickles
  • Enjoying warm straight from the oven

Whether you're serving it with a meal or enjoying a slice on its own, our Jalapeño Cheddar Artisan Sourdough brings bold flavor and handcrafted quality to your table.

A little heat. A lot of cheese. A whole lot of sourdough goodness.

Ingredients:

Flour, water, mild cheddar cheese, jalapenos, salt

Allergens:  Wheat, dairy

Location:  Pick up in Morton, Illinois.

Storage Instructions:  For 2-3 days, store whole loaf cut-side down on a wooden board or paper bag.  For a softer crust, use a breathable linen or beeswax wrap.  Never refrigerate sourdough, as the cold temperature will cause the starches to crystallize and make the bread go stale much faster.  For long term storage (up to 3 months), wrap in and put in an air tight bag.  If you slice and freeze individual slices separated by parchment paper you can pull a single slices straight in the toaster.  To refresh a whole, slight stale loaf, spritz the crust with water and bake at 350F for 10-15 minutes.
